If laws were to be proved, then Murphy's Law would not stand a chance, for if we tried to prove it right then whatever can go wrong will, and we'll never end up proving it. So would it be safer to label it as Murphy's axiom instead?
Murphy doesn' state that his law is provable . So if one tries to prove it , according to Murphy (as you've said) he shouldn't be able to. Again , in actuality just the fact that it is not proved at that moment doesn't mean the law is wrong.
PS : Axioms always hold true. :) Evangelists will be out of business then. And the world will come to an end at once :)
I am both flattered and honored but i turn down the offer, not out of reverence to Murphy,but cos I wouldn exactly want to be remembered each time something goes wrong for someone. :)
@muddman
I take up the offer at DC. Lol. And Murphy would be proud of you for your defence of his theory.
